We aren't winning a playoff game with this defense and for all the love Ben Johnson gets, he lacks creativity early and calls an old school style of offense when he's got weapons he can open up with. Maddening. Makes me want to rip my hair out. Don't get started with this fucking defense in detail.

Maddening. Makes me want to rip my hair out. Don't get started with this fucking defense in detail.

I also feel like when the offense gains a 3 or 4 touchdown lead they don’t control the pace of the game. You never see them do these long slow drives to kill the clock, they go for the same explosive looks that got them ahead. And then it kind of puts a huge lift on the D if they don’t turn it into touchdowns. So they either drop 50 pts, or risk throwing the game away.

They would just benefit from a bit more…gamesmanship?

They need to mix it up more. Then run a lot of inside, call control offense. They rarely run screens to an athlete like Gibbs. Get him in there and get him on a LB, create some space in a mismatch. Nope. Ground and pound.
