Just saw yesterday Wolfeman's doctors found the issue with his neck. There were apparently pretty serious talks about him retiring from it. He should be good to keep playing.

that sucks. for both Wood & whoever gets stuck under center in buffalo next season. at least Wood sounds like he should be able to function relatively fine in the real world outside of football.

You mean when the Cheatriots blatantly cheated and when caught destroyed evidence? No, that was the NFL's hands being forced. The fact that Pats fans have to point to that as 'evidence' that the league doesn't favor them is lulzy beyond words.

that’s a double edged sword tho. pats fans are already insufferable enough when it comes to their willful ignorance of shady shit, so this would just give them the type of confirmation bias they’d love to have in their back pocket, right next to deflate gate. it would be at the tip of every patriots apologist’s tongue every fucking nfl weekend until the end of eternity. or at least until they start to suck again & those same apologists just migrate to whatever boston team is successful at the moment.

That wasn't just a random fan's nonsense, that argument came directly from the team. It was in this massive report they put up online

Then people saw it and called them out on how stupid it was, and woooosh, gone from the report, like it was never there
