What I'm proposing is that the NFL hires and pays all of the players from the revenues that they now give to each team. Teams would draft and trade players to make up their rosters. The players would rate players at positions and players would be paid according to their worth at the end of the season. All players would get the minimum for their years in the league during the season and the performance bonuses for their rank after the season ends.

You'd have to completely restructure the ownership of the entire league to make this happen. I can't even imagine what it would do to their exemption status and player's labor rights to only have one employer. No one involved is ever going to agree to change that radical though.

Looking at receiver yardage this season. I've pretty much had AB and Julio as 1a and 1b for a couple seasons now.

Then there's Nuk. 2nd in receiving yards with absolute bums throwing him the ball and being practically the only player worth throwing to.

Seriously might put him above both guys at this rate.

I couldn't imagine the kind of production he'd have with a good QB and some other weapons on offense.

Yeah it is hard to make an argument against AB. Hopkins just does such unreal shit and especially with the shit he has to work with.

Hopkins' work is the most impressive cause he's had shit QBs throughout except that glorious 5 game stretch with Watson.
