Who's paying 20 bucks to get a preseason fix tonight haha.
You mean paying for NFL Network? I have that shit year round bra.

Clowney back at practice today. No pads
Peycan is probably having an episode of PTSD right now.
I guess I haven't seen the same sources.
I'm hearing positive things Richardson, House, Datone (but no so much once pads were donned), Raji, Elliott, Thomas, Hayward, Hyde, and Lattimore on defense. Hearing good things about Abbrederis (RIP), Dorsey, Bulaga, Bahk, Sherrod (lately), and Dick Rodge on offense. And lately Adams/Janis seem to be catching on.
I've heard mehh things about Ha-ha, Brad Jones, Shields, Bradford, and Hubbard on defense. Heard mehhh things about Cobb, Tretter, Sitton (just inactivity), and Lylerla on offense.
As you can see, the positive highly outweighs the negative....which I think is more a product of people liking good news in TC. I wish reporters would be more critical.
It's hard to take any of these things seriously, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't really excited to see Bulaga back in action especially. I liked that pick back then and still do. I think this O-line has a very good ceiling right now.
I heard Haha looked really good in run support yesterday and almost had a pick on a terrible throw. Hubbard also beasted at Family Night and then singlehandedly tore Barclay's ACL (unfortunately)
It's fucking ridiculous the rule changes that have come as a direct result of Peyton not being good in the postseason.
First the rule change after he got besmirched by the Pats, resulting in his 49-TD season.
Now, he doesn't win against one of the league's last remaining great defenses, so they have to handicap defenses even more? If he wins the title this year, I'll be real fucking sour.
I for one applaud the NFL for trying to remedy the injustice's that were suffered during Super Bowl 48.
The way Denver's offense/Peyton's style is built, they wouldn't make it past the divisionals if the rules were like they were in 2003.

Peyton wouldn't have a SB or any of the records he holds if not for the rules. He exploits them better than anyone. Brady is a close second, he also abuses the rules.
Rustlemania.

Peyton's style tends to benefit more because his offenses are always so darn timing based (and thus so vulnerable to physical defensive backs, jams, etc) and he's so incredibly immobile and, at this time, relatively small-armed. I think guys like Brady and Rodgers (especially Rodgers because of his very different style) benefit far less from these rules.
But, make no mistake, all quarterbacks benefit. Ketchman wrote that the league won't stop this trend of legislation until every team has a franchise quarterback or at least someone who produces a a level we currently associate with franchise passers.
Fuck the NFL. This shit gets me rustled.
WHAT? Because a great defense was perfectly built to beat a great offense?
Peyton had a legendary year but lets not forget, when the rush is on in big spots, he has always felt the pressure, and he has always been rattled.
And with Receivers dont play well against the press, it allowed that much more time for the rush to get there.
Seattle was built to stop teams like that. If it had been a team with a prolific running game, it wouldnt have been a slaughter.
What the NFL is doing is setting the stage for one dimensional teams to win it all.
Thats like having handicaps in the Masters. Its pathetic.
The NFL was BUILT on great Defense, and thats the style of play I still like to see.
Teams like the Steel Curtain, the '85 Bears, '00 Ravens, the '73 Rams, and the '77 "Grits Blitz" Falcons were fascinating to watch, because they shut down even the best offenses in the league. In the playoffs it was always a case of "can they score on them?" And the answer was NO. Thats dominance, Thats the best this game gets, I for one LOVED this last superbowl. It was a throwback game to a day when men were men and football wasn't a game for pansies.
Roger Goodell and his obsession with breaking history, and changing the greatest sport in America into a non-contact sport makes me sick.
