The why your team sucks articles are hilarious. This part from the Packers one last year had me dying.

Here is what I imagine is a typical scene in a Green Bay household:

WIFE: Can you pass the salt?

HUSBAND: (stares off into nothingness)

WIFE: Can you pass the salt? KUUUUUUUUUUUUUHN.

HUSBAND: (system reboots) Sure ya LOVE OL’ KUHNY.

Nah Packers. Just showed it on Training Camp Primetime.

Been a lot of fights at the Bears from what Ive read. Lamarr Houston and a o-lineman really got into it apparently.

Got a video? Ive been watching ITC Live all week and haven't seen anything about it. I saw about the browns one though, GOD KNOWS they're covering Browns training camp well.

Wish they would cover teams who are actually gonna be relevant in December.

It might make me a bad person, but both segments on Bud Adams had me crying. The laughing kind.

Wow, that writer eviscerated Adams.

Looks like Bennett got a little sensitive about being shown up by a rookie who is 60 lbs lighter than him. I think the Bears got a good one in Fuller.

Ill see if I can get it back off the tv

They said it was a rookie d player. Doing one on ones and he and the o-line player start going at it. D takes a nasty shot at the guys head and another o-linemen comes out of no where and blindsides him.

Didn't look like a horse collar or a face mask, IMO. Bennett is Bennett though, he fucks people for doing less. Like seeing cantler praising Fuller at the end. As a big Virginia Tech fan, I think the bears got a great corner.

I can't wait for the Bravo/Oprah version, Hard Kocks with Michael Sam.

The Falcons just scrimmaged the Titans, so that'll probably be on next week's episode. For years, I ignored Hard Knocks, but I gave it a try last year and really enjoyed it. Sad to say I recorded and watched all the old episodes that were on NFL Network.

What's to be sad about? It's NFL Films + HBO

It's one of the best pieces of sports journalism each year. Even better if you're a football fan.

The Steelers WYTS from the past few years have been great, makes me kind of glad I only stay in Pennsylvania for weekends at a time.

Go to any Steelers bar and you will hear that chant—that breathtakingly dumb chant—on a loop for four straight hours. Last year, I found myself stuck in a New York Steelers bar and it was pure anguish. Hell on Earth. Watching football with Steelers fans make me want to not like football anymore. The place REEKED. Just this massive swarm of fat, sweaty bodies and day-glo orange fingernails soaked in wing sauce. Every Steelers fan smells like a beer someone farted in. And all they did was say that stupid fucking chant over and over again regardless of the situation. First down? HERE WE GO STEELERS. Big Ben fumbles? HERE WE GO STEELERS. They're like big fat robots. They had NOTHING else to say to each other. Just this collective mass of dead brain cells. And they're EVERYWHERE. They're in every city, and God they'll never let you forget it.

And the worst part about Steelers fans is that they think you like them. The media has sucked on the Steelers' dick for so long that Pittsburgh fans have become convinced that they're REALER fans than you and I. They find themselves adorable. LOOK AT US WITH OUR TOWELS! WE'RE SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN RAVENS FANS! No, you are not. You're just as bad. In fact, you're worse. I can escape from Ravens fans. You assholes are all over the place, like a bacterium. I went to the beach this summer and Steelers fans constituted 90 percent of the visible white beach trash. Thousands of 300-pound mouthbreathers with Steelers shoulder tats and husky wives rocking Big Ben jerseys in 90-degree heat.

I got my mom and sister hooked on hard knocks and they have to watch it every August despite knowing nothing about the NFL. First episode I showed them they cried seeing players get cut. They had no idea that happened.

Yeah, I missed out on it for awhile. Didn't think it'd be any good.

Now, by the time football season starts, I'm so desperate for action that I sometimes find myself watching CFL games on ESPN.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
#Bengals QB Andy dalton signed a 6-year, $96M extension today, per source who has seen it. Can make up to $115M. $17M guaranteed in 3 days.

16 mil per is not all that bad.

He only got $17 million guaranteed though so thats big for the Bengals. After the next couple seasons they could cut him without taking a big hit.

Its only a big contract for Dalton if he steps up and performs.

I expect Alex Smith to get the same type of deal even though he is looking for more guaranteed money.

The "Why Your Team Sucks" editions have started.

First up: my Tennessee Titans.

I have to admit, the series totally nailed Tennessee last season.

I love these things.

I know its just for humor but I can't stand when they post things that aren't factually accurate. Kinda like with a movie that has stupid little flaws that could have easily been fixed with proper editing.

For example in the Titans one they say that Nate Washington is the only good receiver on the roster.

I guess that Kendall Wright is a scrub. 94 receptions for 1100 yards despite playing only 70% of the snaps. And having to catch passes from Jake Locker and Ryan Fitzpatrick no less....

Pretty much. I just hope KC doesn't guarantee him too much if Dorsey(GM) and Condon(Agent/Parasite) can make a deal. All reports coming out of KC are that they're not even close in coming to terms.

Yeah, this year's version was nowhere near as good as last season's. Like you, I read that exact same thing and wondered if the writer knew anything about the Titans (and if not, that's probably why the article was really dry). Kendall Wright is awesome and Justin Hunter really has a chance to step up this season. Washington is reliable and he's definitely grown on me, but unless Wright and/or Hunter slip for some reason (performance/injury), Washington is looking at being the third receiver right now.

Agreed. Kendall Wright put up Pro Bowl numbers his 2nd year in the league on a team with a terrible Quarterback situation. Like you said there is all kinds of buzz on Justin Hunter as well.

As a Titans fan I kinda hope that Jake Locker gets hurt this season. Terrible I know but....

(1) They aren't gonna do anything besides be in the running for a Wild Card best case scenario.

(2) I don't want to see Jake Locker have an average season and then get a 6-year $70-80 million contract. Only to get injured the next season.

(3) Get a really good draft pick for a change. The Titans are the master of the 7-9 or 8-8 season which earns them nothing but picks 12-20 in the draft.

(4) It serves them right for bringing in god awful Charlie Whitehurst as a backup to the most injury prone starting quarterback in the league. Its almost like they were thinking hey if Locker gets hurt we are screwed anyways so.... (I know they brought Whitehurst in because his experience in the offense just saying)

(5) This team is a quarterback away from being legit playoff contenders. They have solid weapons in the receiving game in Wright, Hunter and Delanie Walker. They have what should be one of the better offensive lines in the league. The defense improved a ton last season and was in the top half of the league.

I'm glad the Bucs were able to get back in at the end of the first round ahead of the Giants to draft Doug Martin

Has anyone found footage of the Tretter vs. Robinson fight at Packers camp?

Also, apparently there is some encouraging young linebacker play for us. Supposedly Lattimore has stepped up and rookies Joe Thomas and Jayrone Elliott are putting on a show.
