NFL Discussion v60: Contract Raping Edition

Gordon is a fuckup, but he's had some bad luck with his last 2 incidents. The marijuana level just barely was over the NFL testing limit and his blood alcohol content was just barely over. If I recall, DUIs used to be around .10, then they changed it to .08. Gordon got popped for .09. Also, doing 50 in a 35 doesn't really sound all that bad to me for a DUI pullover. You'd think he was doing 70 or something.

What happens if his drug suspension gets overturned? He's still gotta face consequences for the DUI, right? Is it still a year or does he get 4 games?

How had I never heard the Mike Vick Mexican herpes story?

That story only seemed to get around through the internet. I cannot recall newscasters giving it any talk. It's not really material the media would want to talk about anyways. Then, he one-upped it with the dogkilling shit.

OBJ has a bad hammy injury apparently.

Giants should have drafted Aaron Donald or Zach Martin. They had too many positional issues to go high on a position like WR, when that position can be found easier and OBJ wasn't considered a potential future number 1 like Watkins or Evans. Hell, the Giants star receiver, Victor Cruz, was an undrafted free agent.

I don't think it's really bad. I read he met with Coughlin yesterday so that seems to indicate that they feel he should be on the field sooner rather then later

Dalton.

Free Hernandez was a close second.

Had to go with Quitler. Dude got overpaid like no other and he just annoys me in general.

Saw some twitter shit that he asked for the sit down with Coughlin and some others about the testing showing its pretty serious.

Hes missed quite a bit of time, hopefully he gets healthy soon.

Woodson is going to get his revenge on that can.

Don't think he's referring to fantasy. It's hard to argue Brady isn't top 3... dude is the epitome of consistency.

hes better than rodgers,brees,manning?

brady wasnt top 10 in any major passing category last year

-cmp pct
-td
-int
-yds/a
-passer rating

and thats with one of the best pass protections in the league

I hate Tom Brady with a passion but if he isnt at least top 4 on your list you are a moron.

He was also sacked 40 times last year. Doesnt sound like very good protection to me.

He was throwing to cans. His best receiver was Edelman.

Brady carried that crap patriots team.

Matt Ryan does not belong above any of those guys.

lol at Steven Jackson injuring his other hamstring.

Rams got rid of him just in time.
