Cowboys have a good O. If they can keep everyone healthy on D they might squeak out a 9-7 season and make the playoffs. The NFC east as a whole is pretty shit division right now.

Their D definitely sucked early in the season, but they slowly got better throughout the season. That team is going to be very dangerous if they can get to a ~15 ranked D, which I think is something that will happen by the end of next season

The Niners had like a dozen picks and traded one of their lowest for a cheap backup. The Raiders traded for a crappy startet that costs a ton of money, far more than he is worth.

You are right they are not the same situation, the 9ers are a top team and the raiders are in a rebuild.

The raiders have a ton of cap space and need a Qb, it's not like they are mortgaging the future with schaub. There is arguably no franchise Qb in this yrs draft, even if there was the raiders pick at 5 and he would be gone by then. Can't go into the season with just Pryor and McGloin.

Money aside you can not honestly say getting Schaub for a 6th isn't better than grabbert for a 6th
