Revis was the better cover corner, but Woodson did everything else better, stopping the run, blitzing, leadership etc

That DPTY voting was one of the biggest fuck ups I've seen in a long time.
2009jets coach rex ryan said thursday that not only should revis earn consideration for defensive player of the year honors, he also said that revis is a bigger factor than ravens lb ray lewis.
"ray lewis had the most impact i've ever been around of a guy that would lead a team and will a team," ryan told reporters, via espn. "he was a tremendous player. But what we can do physically and how (revis has) changed what we can play defensively, i think he's the guy."

MD Jennings was a pretty solid pickup at safety for the Bears. 16 game starter last year so he has the experience of playing games and only on a cheap 1 year deal, quite the bargain.
