it always amazes me teams can afford this much in salary. Tickets don't cost that much... There must be crazy markup on merchandise and TV deals have to pay a lot.

Tickets are pretty outrageous..... I paid 300$ per ticket for ground level. And there are 60,000 seats in most stadiums, plus the concessions are out of this world expensive, parking, merch, TV deals, ect ect ect.... Its a billion dollar industry for a reason.

Where is revolver when you need him.

do you get that much pleasure out of a 4 hour experience that you are willing to spend 300-400 dollars on it???

Why not go play football with friends for free?

Well.....
1. 600$ isn't exactly a backbreaker.
2. Hell yeah it was pretty awesome for a lot of reasons I'm not gonna type out.

Bah.

Melton about to sign with the Hawks.

$600 is a plane ticket somewhere cool. fuck that. I've been to NFL games it was a waste of time. Much better on TV.

It was pretty awesome to me.

Never said they wouldnt be good but they arent going to steamroll teams. They didnt last year and still have almost all the same flaws they did last year. The only time they really looked elite last year was with Gronk n he will miss even more games this year. Plus unlike the Colts or Bengals they arent a young team of improving young stars. Also Dobson is going to be god but he will never be a star. if anything the Broncs have further widened the gap between them pats

The Pats defense looked real good early last year and then literally half the starters went down within a 2 week period. I dont really get comparing last year to this year. Lot of guys coming back, our secondary has improved by leaps and bounds. Talib played like 5 healthy games all last season. Revis, Dennard, Browner, Ryan... thats a solid CB tandem.

The offense will be a little shaky i agree but the defense should make up for that.

Also the Pats have quite a few good to great young players. Chandler Jones, Jamie Collins, Shane Vereen, Ridley(questionable). Mayo is still fairly young, McCourty looked much better suited at safety.

Everyone has 4 or 5 good young players. Shit most teams have twice that many. Plus Vereen, Ridley and McCourtey arent difference makers anyways. They arent On the same level as Bengal or Colts young players.

By the "Colts young players", you mean Andrew Luck and to a much lesser extent TY Hilton? Because...that's all they have. Wayne is old, Fleener sucks, their run game is crap, no offensive line whatsoever.

I guess he'll just be added to the looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong of Patriots haters in the SB. Vereen is a very good player.
