Austin Howard became a part timer because he wasn't as good as originally hoped/paid for and Watson was comparatively better at that spot but not "so good"/amazing as you are making him out to be. Watson was best player at RT on the roster but had his obvious shortcomings and therefore not worth the continued investment. If he was so worth the money as you claim why didn't the Raiders outbid the Broncos for Watson's services? Why didn't Reggie didn't pay him the 6 million/yr that you think he deserves? BECAUSE HE'S NOT CAPABLE OF BEING A FULL TIME STARTER. Again, he was the best RT the Raiders had at the time but he didn't live up to expectations and now he's yours.

And to think of it there weren't very many teams rumored to be interested in Watson before he signed. The Giants had "preliminary talks" with him and the Raiders were interested at a certain price, but the Broncos were the only ones so gung ho to sign him.

And LMAO at you not letting this go. "Not understanding the market" because I don't think that a part time starter/rotational player should be paid starters money. Not many teams thought so either, except for the Broncos. But keep your bullshit coming. I can do this all day long.
