Kinda embarrassing to admit but I'd forgotten exactly how the new OT rules worked, so when NE scored their TD I thought ATL would get the ball with a chance to tie it. Was loling hard when I finally realized that nope the game was over but couldn't help think how shitty it must've been for a Falcans fan with that same misunderstanding lmfao

How could you forget? They tell us about the "new rules" (implemented 5 years ago) before the coin flip every time a game goes to OT.

I've seen 5 bama titles and the bama fan in me comes from my moms side.
Yesterday was really hard watching with my dad. He's been a fan since the teams inception and watch with him as a kid is what made me a Falcons fan. To have in your grasp and it slip away is a killer.

Not after they tied it up? I was positive they would get the TD to bring it to within 2, but I was worried about the 2 point conversion just because of how the Pats lost to Denver last year.

I think Atlanta could have won the coin toss and they probably would have went 3 and out.

Belichick's "we're already 5 weeks behind most of the leauge on the 2017 season" is why the Pats are the Pats.
