Will go down as the worst play calling in history.
I was saying the exact same thing. Not sure why they tried to pass the ball every time in the fourth when Freeman was averaging 6 yards a carry. They were also snapping the ball with 10 to 15 seconds left on the clock every time.

3rd and 1 -> 5 step drop -> sack fumble

1st and 10 from the 22 -> sack, offensive holding

They have to run it 3 straight times there, and should have been a run or at least 3 step drop pass on their 3rd down. Literally one thing gives the patriots life in both situations and that's what they did both times. Patriots earned the win, but they aren't in position without some major ATL fuck ups (you can say this about plenty of winners) .

Brutally bad. I believe it was already inside a 40 yard kick, or around that. ATL kicker 9/9 40-49 this year

Was shocked when they didn't run the ball when they had it at the 22. Little over 4 mins left and they didn't even bother to try and milk the clock.

I put this loss completely on the coaching staff. I can't blame the defense for giving up points while playing over 40 minutes. They were insanely good the first half and got gassed.

Play calling on shannahan run the ball you fucking idiot.

Quinn for not stepping in and better clock management.

Yup, 3 runs and a FG is essentially game over. Especially how long it takes NE to move the ball

Matt bryant is money inside 57 yards
Run the fucking ball kick the FG and go home as super bowl champs.

All on the coaching staff

Would have wasted another min in time and they would have used all their timeouts game would have been over

9er's title drought continues, may as well withdraw the offer to Shanacan

The way the game was going Atlanta either fumbles or misses the FG. Essentially the opposite of what happened in the first 2.5 quarters.

Wonder how many years Brady has left. It's crazy that he's been to the super bowl 7 times.

Pats fans, this the most satisfying of the five chips?

Before last night their 1st was my favorite because the loss to the Packers in SB31 was still kinda fresh and they weren't supposed to have a shot against that Rams team. Watching them come back from 25 down last night tops it though, I've never felt so discouraged (at how it started) and then so elated (at how it ended) in the course of a single game, nevermind a superbowl. I'm still processing what the fuck happened last night.

v Falcons
v Rams
v Seahawks
v Panthers
v Eagles
