Read somewhere that hiring Shanny Jr. could lead to Shanny Sr. having a job too. Obviously not GM now, but maybe a consultant to help Lynch out? Either way the Niners seem fucked up

I've heard rumors, but they usually get qualified with the "wouldn't it be neat?" I haven't heard anything about Mike being eager to get back into the game, but we'll see.

At this point I might be hoping for Mike to be brought on board if I were a Niner fan. That is pretty sad.

Literally yesterday I saw something about a third mystery candidate that no one knew about and I'm like oh well that's weird. Then he becomes the freaking GM. Thought for sure we would get the Cardinals Personnel guy. This a trainwreck
 
Supposedly Lynch stayed the night at Jed's house and traveled with them to ATL to meet Shanny lol...

As stupid as it is hiring a guy with 0 Gm /scouting / front office / personnel / anything experience - It's not as bad if they are really hiring a personnel assistant under him. Mark Dominik was rumored to be in the mix for GM, now they are saying he might land in that role. Still think it was a terrible job, but seeing as it's a 6 year deal I will try to be optimistic that Jon Lynch can at least do some good things while someone else is in control of the draft..

I strongly doubt Jed gave him the goddamn common courtesy of a reach around. Also remembered this blurb from a Magary article a couple weeks back...
I’m crazy excited for Kyle Shanahan and Colin Kaepernick to join forces. If Kaep sticks around, I give it until Week 3 or so until “anonymous” leaks come out about his poor work ethic and self-interest. It’s gonna be awesome. I never thought I’d see the day when another owner stole Dan Snyder’s No. 1 Brat trophy off the mantel, but Jed York is getting real, real close. I can’t wait to tell my grandkids about what a shitbag he was. “I was there, sonny!”
