Did he not have one of the greatest second seasons for a QB, yes he did.

Speaking of MVP's compare Mayes second season to Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in theirs,

Pretty wide open playoffs. Any of the 7 teams from either can win it save maybe Carolina/TB, Green Bay , Pitt/Bal. 11 of 14 teams that make it got a legit shot .

AFC - Buffalo for 3 years has been a elite WR away and they refuse to add one. But KC is gone and Bal is toast. They are my pick over NE as IMO they are too green still. Denver or Jax. Imo just doesn't have that next gear to get there. Still 6 teams with a solid shot .

NFC - had Purdy not been injurdd all ear and Bosa not been IR I think SF is the run away favorite . This gs being as is theres 5 teams with basically an equal shot any given game .

No clue who comes out so I go Philly for experience ( rooting for Bears) theres 5 teams with basically an equal shot - coin flip.

FOR SUPERBOWL I predict Buffalo v SF.

Really is hard to believe that Purdy was there in the last round, his Iowa State numbers told a different story.

I have talked about wanting the Bills to FINALLY win a SB just not over my Niners.

Very cool that the Niners could win tomorrow and never leave the bay area again including the SB.

If the Bills did lose another SB, that's 0-5, ouch!

Drake Maye on the Pats this year with a sick ass defense, a great o-line, a generational coach, good wr’s, creative rungame with multiple starting-caliber backs, and a all-time OC is the equivalent of being a nepo-baby. If you took any other top 10 QB and put them in that situation they’d eclipse the numbers he put up.

It is what it is though. He’ll win MVP and bounce out of the yoffs

the way I see it, Caleb is going to dwarf him next season, the offensive is still trying to click and its a much more advanced offense than the Patriots. If The Bears had Vrabel and McDaniel I legitimately think they win 14 games

I'm not just trying to make it about the Bears either, the Patriots set up is what I wanted for my team.

Having seen Maye play he simply has.......IT......just like he did at NC.

Do think we are looking at an all timer here, his first two seasons far better than a lot of all timers.

Maye is playing far better than a lot of Hall of Famers did in their second season.

Peyton had over 80 INTS his first 4 seasons.

Great season by a second year qb against shit competition. Let’s see if he can do it again next year. Been more impressed with Caleb Williams tbh.

Don’t care about numbers. Gayes number are inflated by stat padding against shit tier teams. Watch some actual games and then come back and post. I actually posted something a few pages back comparing the two against teams above .500
