What’s the short story…
An agent of a Raiders offensive lineman said that his client told him the position group met multiple times on their own with Smith and Jeanty, and specifically without coaches, so the quarterback and running back could talk to them about how they wanted the offensive line to create blocks.

"It was that bad," the agent told ESPN. "They were meeting on their own and trying to figure it out together, which I have never heard of in my history of working in this league."

"There is some sort of nepotism going on," a fourth agent of a Raiders player said.

The agent also said his client said that Brennan Carroll rushed players through individual drills at practice and didn't teach them what they were trying to achieve in specific drills.

Also, apparently Jeanty was meeting with Spytek and studying film.

The Raiders are an abomination in desperate need of a complete overhaul top to bottom with a GM ran/built team (which hasnt happened in 10 years, basically the last time they were remotely successful). Spytek/Carroll werent on the same page for literally anything, no one wanted the Raiders job (Ben Johnson/Cohen namely) and Carroll’s son should be shot into the sun.

They completely shit the bed not hiring Harbaugh when he wanted to take over this embarrassment of a franchise lol.

It was Powers-Johnson.

Hmm, did not know that. I grew up with them being synonymous with that tight stretchy material that I think most people just basically call under armour, kinda of like Kleenex and tissue paper. So I thought they had the monopoly on that.

As far as LMR, he went out of business last week!
Under Armour went all in on some can name Steph Corey and basically went under when no one cared enough to buy his shoes.

Fucking crazy. No doubt in my mind the front office was all in on the tank.
Id say they knew it was needed, but I dont think anyone expected a Pete Carroll team to be getting the first pick. It was pretty much universally viewed that they’d roll out a competitive team for good reason.

Lmao so basically typical Raider shit. L

Bingo. Could have ended it at Raiders are an abomination.

The moment they took an ungodly talented prospect like JPJ and forced him to a new position I knew it was headed in a bad direction lol

I knew we would be bad but not this bad. I don’t like the ownership being involved in anything other than hiring the GM. Hire the gm, let the gm hire the HC and let the HC hire his coordinators.

It's an honor to get disrespected here. @fica reached the pinnacle of disrespect on this board.

My fav fica was him not getting that soccer guys running fast in shorts is totally different than NFLer in a helmet a football and 15 pounds of pads, he never could undertand the difference.

I did think he was play acting and was great at it.

Speaking of football coachs....

I was a running back, everything other than hitting the right hole is instinctive ya either have it or ya don;t. This coach was trying to show us how to evade a tackler, hahahahahaha!

I never once actually thought about anything it's all instincts and reacting. You can't teach that.

Crazy tidbit. Hunter is quietly working on a HOF resume. 1-2 seasons will likely put him in the top 20 of all time sack leaders in the ball park of Jared Allen, John Abraham etc. Playing alongside Will Anderson and the Texans d line should pretty easily get him there

I thought he was on his way to a HoF lock in 2019. Dude is stupid talented. Dude used to wreck the Bears interior and it was the only good part of the line at that point.

In a perfect world...

Niners beat Eagles
Rams destroy Panthers
Pats victorious with Maye 24-26 345 yards 4 TD
Blls with Allen showing how he won an MVP
Bears thrilled to FINALLY have a QB
Steelers make it 24 wins in a row at home on MNF

That Steelers trend is about as strong as I have seen in pro football. Gotta go back to 1991 to find the Steelers losing a MNF home game.
