I wish the salary cap could get reworked per like side of the ball. You have so much for offense and so much for defense.

That could get kind of awkward. I know it would encourage teams to be balanced, but sometimes the talent just wouldn't be there in one side of the ball. Can you imagine the Packers having to pay the D the same money the last few years?

I can see that but my thinking more was "this is the MAX you can pay each side of the ball... doesn't mean you have to hit that minimum window though."

Kinda like:
