Apparently they thought a rookie QB with a handful of starts, a rookie HC, and a can rookie OC were going to set the world on fire and beat the top dogs like KC and the Dolphins lol.

O’Connell made some ridiculous throws in the first half against one of the best secondaries in the league… Also against a d-coordinator in Spags that feasts on rookie/inexperienced QBs. Don’t think Jimmy G makes some of those and you could do a lot worse than a stat line of 22/33 248 1TD

He looks really good given his experience level and coaching staffs. I dont know how anyone can knock this kid right now its beyond me. Same with the HC.

That would be a crazy athletic/explosive offense.

If it was a third round pick or worse Id trade for him in a heartbeat. Given how close he is to a new deal Id rather take a rookie over giving up a second and lol @ a first.
