All these cans going for it on 4th cuz of analshitics are morons. Eventually taking the points, field position and a slightly more conservative or calculated approach will make its way back. Baseball was ahead of the curve with analytics and this past year we had the Cangers and dbags in the World Series, a couple of teams that toned it back to the basics a little bit. Beating the highly analshytic teams in the process.

If we punt instead of the fake punt, we possibly keep them to a FG. If we kick those three FGs, that's a thirteen point swing and we win. I'm fine with him going for it when we have momentum, but not on our own 23 and not when we need any points we can get because the defense is crap and we can't keep Goof out of pressure situations. That said, the defense has to be better. It's been league worst for four weeks.

At the end of the day, if you told me we would be 8-3 through eleven six months ago, I would have laughed at you. Dan is a solid coach, but he's a better leader. He made mistakes today, but Johnson called a terrible game and didn't pivot when he realized Goof was under a lot of pressure, utilizing the middle of the field more for the short passes and kept calling the same game as if we were leading.
