you’re identifying the wrong problem with their ST unit. Toney fumbled on the return, not the catch.

Dave Toub trotted out a rookie WR as the punt returner for most of the year -who had no extensive punt returning background, and continues to allow Tommy Townshend to hold kicks when he clearly sucks at it. Hard to kick FGs when the laces are out or the ball isn’t firmly placed

Their special teams sucks because of Toub, not their personnel.

I was just pointing out how the special teams has been extremely bad all year. 100% a lot of that comes down to coaching there. Between the turn overs and missed field goals, KC's special teams has cost the team too many times. People can bag on the D all thet want, but this game wont have been nearly a close with out that fumble and missed field goal. Andy Reed also got away from the run in the second half this season. He does that way too often imo.
