Damnit. And I really wanted to see if Bellicheck could have an answer for the Chiefs
 
Most importantly is hopefully everyone is ok. A very distance secondly, the mlb managed through a team outbreak, maybe the nfl can also.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think the NFL has minor league teams to pull from and the rosters are much bigger.
 
Would seem pretty short sighted to allow the Patriots to play tomorrow.

They expanded the practice squad for this exact situation.

Its obviously harder to manage though. Losing a QB isnt comparable to any single player on a baseball lineup.
 
The nfl had all that time to come up with a plan, players saw the risk of going out and catching it and it still might fuck the nfl season

IF, big IF, their mass retesting comes back ok, Im not sure its handled any different than the Falcons player who was positive. They retested and went forward.

Obviously the concern is the days between exposure to contagious, but the league is essentially going off of most current test results not after an exposure window.

Hairy situation and wont be shocked if the plug is pulled. QB was the one position that we knew everyone would take a step back and look at things.

The argument against would be that no Vikings players got it from the Titans, but Patriots players all spending more time in a locker room together would definitely increase the number of cases

Make all the players wear masks in locker rooms, even if they tested positive, and on sidelines as well? Only the 11 on the field at a time don’t have a mask on.

They should just cancel all games this weekend and give every team a couple of days to implement their own bubbles. Bubbles worked in other sports. Imagine 32 separate bubbles! I fucking love bubbles.
