I don't have to. It was one of those games where whoever put the most pressure on the other team's quarterback would win. The Rams put more pressure on Brady, so they won. The Buccaneers had a chance to win the game because Goff threw two picks despite not being pressured much, but then Brady coughed it up to the other team. Both quarterbacks had their moments, and both made some major errors, but ultimately Brady made the last one with the game on the line, so the Rams won.

Brady's having a good season and so are the Buccaneers overall, but this isn't their year. Brady still doesn't fully know the offense and this year was the worst time to transition to a new team. As improbable as it sounds, Brady and the Bucs will probably have a better year next year because they will be completely in sync by then. Just like he's having a better year this year than last year. He doesn't just have better personnel, but he's throwing the ball better and is playing better because he has better protection and it's a better situation overall.

If they're going to win a Super Bowl with Brady, and obviously, this is far from being guaranteed, it's going to be next year. But the bottom line is that Brady is playing well overall and he's made the team much better. He took them from a losing team to a winning team. They're going to make the playoffs and they might even win a game or two. That just wasn't happening before. He's breathed life into the organization, even well beyond his prime.

That's something that has never happened before. When Warren Moon and Vinny Testaverde started for the Panthers and the Chiefs respectively at age 43, they didn't breathe life into the organization. Quite the opposite, actually. They were shot. They were there because the team didn't have better options. The Bucs were happy to sign Brady at age 43 because they thought he would make them a much better team and he has. That's priceless for an organization.

Said it a few weeks ago, if Cucs have to face a solid pass rush in the yoffs then they're gonna have to depend on their D and skill position playmakers to win. Arians needs to adjust and abandon his deep ball attack in favor of a conservative checkdown system, basically something like the Saints. Cucs don't have a Kamara out of the backfield but they do have Gronk and better WRs
