This team has regressed badly in every aspect of the game this year with the exception of Boswell kicking field goals. This also isn't new. The late season collapse is becoming a staple of Tomlin coached teams. It's joining other staples such as terrible clock management, challenges, playing down to bad teams, etc etc.

Fair enough. I don't think of them as a team gifted with a lot of raw talent, so I think it's good for them to always be in the playoff hunt for what that's worth. But yeah, a team with zero chance of winning it all.

Even as a Steelers fan, I like Burrow more than any of the other top QBs in the NFL. The dude has been getting massacred by his O line since he got in the league but he doesn't flop and wine for flags like Mahomes and Allen do. Shame he got drafted by the Bungles.

They haven't bottomed out when it comes to raw talent which is the only reason they haven't become a top 5 picking team yet. They went all in with paying this defense and trying to scrape by without a true successor to Ben but it's been a massive failure. I want them to be sellers in the off season and finally accept they haven't been a true contender since before Ben blew his elbow out in 2019.
