I run a 4.9 flatLooked like @Revolver running a 40
People are coming around to the idea (fact) that they havent had a good QB/offense in about 7 years and Tomlin somehow still keeps getting them to the playoffsSo are people outside of Pittsburgh starting to come around to thinking that just maaaaaaaaaybe Tomlin isn't the amazing HC everyone seemingly makes him out to be? Or do we need a 4th consecutive 14+ point blowout and then another 1st round playoff exit to add to his list of accolades?
I hate this narrative. The Steelers win? Wow! Look at what coach T does with a bad roster!! Steelers lose? Well you know their roster is terrible, they are lucky to even be where they are at. No other head coach in the NFL gets the excuse train rolled out for them like Tomlin does.People are coming around to the idea (fact) that they havent had a good QB/offense in about 7 years and Tomlin somehow still keeps getting them to the playoffs
I empathize, really I do, I haven't believed in the Steelers for over a decade now. But it's also a QB driven league, and they've just never had anyone ready. I thought maybe one of these two guys could find their form, but they are both limited in pretty severe ways. I wish we had a better pick, but that's the way she goes. I think Tomlin is a good coach, and we need to have a bad season under him. Then you jettison him with thanks and hope it's a good QB draft. There are teams out there paying Doug Pederson to coach them.I hate this narrative. The Steelers win? Wow! Look at what coach T does with a bad roster!! Steelers lose? Steelers haven't accomplished fuck all in over a decade. They are currently in the midst of their longest playoff win drought for the franchise in the Super Bowl era. Tomlin has had HOF players on both sides of the ball to work with since he became a head coach. This stretch of games was the first time the Steelers have lost 3 straight games by double digits since 1988, only the second time since the merger in 1970.
He is a defensive minded head coach and his highest paid defense in the league is getting absolutely destroyed right now with dudes acting like they have no idea what is going on. It really boggles the mind that people think this team is well coached.
I hope they fire him so their window licking fans can see what its like to not have a good (if not great) head coach.I hate this narrative. The Steelers win? Wow!
