I think Aaron could still work for a team like the 49ers next year, but I assume that they will just extend Purdy. Rodgers still has a pretty good arm, but he needs a complete offense around him, not a stacked skill player group without an O-Line and without proper play calling.

He bitches at calls, but he also still changes tons of play calls, he still hates motion to make life easier for the offense etc...I mean every team would love to trade for Adams, but all the other former Packers the Jets brought in including HACKett (I know that was technically before the trade and Denver tried the same and then failed to bring in Aaron), come on no team without Rodgers would even think about doing that lol. Not sure if he had a say in firing Saleh.

I still maintain that Gutekunst/Packers and Rodgers should have done the "divorce" one year earlier and I also said it at the time, to my credit haha. It would have been better for both sides, more compensation for the Packers, not having that albatross of a deal, Rodgers a year younger... they simply should have done the Denver deal. The argument is that "Love wasn't ready", but guess what, then bring in a random vet for the year and let Love play and get experience down the line.
