Ballard has actually been a solid GM outside of drafting ARich
Yeah, it's not so much him, but the place needs cleaned out with a fresh start from top to bottom. I never followed, has Irsay always been an idiot that just got lucky for a while?

If you really think about it Shannon kneew about her and Ocho

Wouldn't have predicted that fica would know more than me about anything NFL related. However, I really have no interest in this story. I'm okay with just getting bits and pieces from AB

Can’t believe Baalke kept his job.

I didn't understand that either. Baalke and Fontenot both probably need to lose their positions but the ownership for Atlanta and Jacksonville is poor so you get what you get. Hopefully, Fontenot's gone because while he has drafted decently he's been pretty terrible when it comes to free agency.

Well Manning and Edgerrin carried them for a while. When they actually put together a good defense for a few years 2003-2007 they were unstoppable outside of not being able to beat the Patriots. Then the way the whole thing with the Manning injury and Luck falling in their lap thing was, no pun, luck.

So yeah, Irsay did get fairly lucky before Ballard. Bill Polian wasn't a mastermind GM.

Luck got the shit beat out of him for several seasons until Ballard came along.. then Ballard built an amazing offensive line that Luck only took advantage of for a couple seasons, but unfortunately it was too late. Ballard had also built quite the defensive front too. I think his strategy of prioritizing the trenches was smart.

But putting all of that faith in A Rich was by far the worst decision they made. Now, if they do draft or sign a decent QB, they'll have an aging O-Line between Smith, Kelly and Nelson. Assuming they'll even be around.
