It was pretty well established that the Packers took the bullet because they don't have an owner and Mark Murphy is about to retire. Wouldn't surprise me if owners+RG try to ban it again down the road.

The far worse decision today was not changing the playoff seeding (Lions proposal), too many teams in trash divisions want to get gifted home games.
