I'm gonna side with the old guy, that should absolutely be part of every single contract. I assumed it already was, and I can guarantee it's already part of some contracts. Its the reason some people were speculating about Cleveland getting out of Watsons contracts when his latest problems came up.

These were the instances that supposedly happened after he was with the Browns or something like that. I have no idea if it was accurate or not, don't care honestly. Just using that as an example of these stipulations already being used in contracts.

Browns did zero due-diligence
