I think people like the JaGeno/GOAT Carroll story more than they think hes going to be a top QB. I go deep into the rabbit hole of rankings and the highest Ive seen JaGeno is 12. Its really muddy for QBs from anything 10-17 and is largely week to week based.

Id put quite a bit of the conversation/pre season hype on the shoulders of Carroll/Kelly/Jeanty/Bowers too, and just how much better Geno’s play has been than the other Raider QBs the last many seasons. That doesnt mean hes going to pull a Rich Gannon and be an MVP. But, to his credit he has played really well behind terrible protection in Seattle.

I would be fine if he comes in and is the next Hoss. That would win some games.
