Raiders should be alright brother

Still gonna be hard because the division has the Chiefs and Chargers, but I think the Raiders will be better than the Broncos.
No expectations other than a very scrappy team. Should at least be enjoyable to watch. Ill actually shell out some money to see them play this year.

Raiders era will only last like 3 years unless Pete Carroll turns into Mumm-ra

What is Carroll's "coaching tree"? He's bound to have offspring for as long as he's been in the biz.

Thats the plan. Kelly works with Carrol for a few years and is ready to take over when Carrol hangs them up.
Kelly needs to get on a diet or he may stroke out. Maybe him and the walrus can exchange recipes.

does that fit the definition of coaching tree? I assumed it meant guys who came up under your tutelage that you helped develop before they branched out on their own. Chip is in his 60's and has been the head coach of multiple NFL teams already.

No. But its the plan.

Unconventional post, but as a lifelong 'prisoner" Browns fan. Today was a tough day, Born in NE Ohio, I currently live in Michigan, and have belonged to a Browns Backers group for more or less the last 15 years(which is insane ), but it's because you can literally find Browns fans to watch the game with others anywhere in the world on any given Sunday together, despite being a shit franchise. Despite being tied to/cheering for a "loser city" my whole life. Today, through collections/raffles we awarded a local HS graduate with a scholarship(which we do every year), and herself/her family were awarded a $5000 check towards her education. The proceedings were at a local restaurant (at noon), they couldn't even be bothered to conversate/have lunch with the us, and left by 12:10 at most. Then to have multiple locals uninvolved talk shit about "You're all really a group of Browns fans? You should root for the Lions". It was just like ..nah.

If you really want to get deep, Kelly is a member of the New Hampshire Mafia along with Dan Mullen and Gary Crowton.
