I wondered if that was part of the thought process. Maybe they don't love any of these guys coming out this year but expect to struggle again and take a QB next year.

If you’re not sold on any of them then I agree with not reaching. Stock up on talent and wait until an opportunity comes around.

I don’t buy into the GM saying that a bad choice at QB sets your team back five years. If he sucks, you’re still gonna suck, you can rectify the mistake.

I'd personally rather they pick up Nelson at #2. While not Barkley, still a strong chance guys like Sony Michel or Nick Chubb are still available come round two.

They're going to draft Barkley, Let Eli continue to go to shit while also playing behind a line that couldn't block anyone, and I'll continue being a happy guy

I think he does set you back significantly. But this team has so many holes that I am totally fine with taking the best non-QB on the board. I'd be ecstatic about trading down though.

By all accounts, Gettlemen and Shurmur are high on Davis Webb. Unfortunately McAdoo was a complete buffoon and instead of giving Webb a few snaps he wanted to see what Geno freaking Smith "could do" as if it was some kind of mystery.
