I’ve been listening to people who never say shit like this all year talk about it and state they are not talking out of their ass whatsoever and can 100% back up their claims; to their credit, they legit predicted how this season would unfold by like week 5.

Here it is: Laurie likes Hurts because he won him a sb and doesn’t act like a diva. Was also really chill about the contract negotiation and didnt rake him over the coals.

Sirianni, Patullo, Steichen, Moore, everyone who has touched that offense at all has tried to open up the pass game, but Jalen just refuses to learn new plays, or downright cant. Moore was good at disguising them for the most part and instead of wasting his time with Jalen, he spent a vast majority of his time designing plays for Saquon, and when teams started trying to stop him, he had stuff dialed up to expose teams overcomitting.

Fast forward to this year when Saquon isn’t going off for 160 2tds a game, teams know Jalen is hesitant to sit in the pocket and let plays develop. When he “Goes through his progressions” he just ignores guys if they’re the least bit covered, which makes introducing more comprehensive route concepts almost impossible.

When AJ is pissed, and he’s not the only one, he’s upset because he knows with just another half second or hitch, he can get NFL open. Instead, he turns on his break and sees Jalen running for 3 yards on 2nd and 13 not looking downfield at all.

Players are mad because Jalen is flying on the owner’s jet drinking champagne chopping it up, being treated like a second son, and then running the most mickey mouse offensive scheme because he wants to keep it simple. Sirianni knows where his bread is buttered and its his job to keep Philly’s 50m/yr investment happy.

Long story short, he’s the Russell Wilson of Carson Wentzs

Jalen has been operating in this using RPO's for the entirety of his time there including Steichen. The major difference is Saquon has fallen off dramatically. This isn't even an X's and O's its a Jimmy and Joe's conversation. Tank Bigsby is an objectively better RB than Saquon this year. The only thing Saquon got was carries because of his contract. If you can't get the defense to commit to the run they aren't going to play to open up the pass.

AJ Brown has been a fucking can this entire season. It's literally been a meme since like week 2. AJ Brown can't make contested catches like he used to. He's dropping balls and not getting any separation. Jalen isn't going to throw the ball into shit that contested. He's ALWAYS taking care of the football, for better or worse. Fundamental protect the ball from him.

That offensive scheme is also worse than anything they've ran in the past.

Jalen Hurts is a good QB, I'm sorry to tell you this way.

I’m telling you what people in the org are leaking to the media, AJ’s just the only one willing to speak up.

I like Jalen. You’re seeing teams totally unafraid of him throwing the ball which is concerning when your qb is making a large percentage of your cap space
