Yeah but when you should have won the game it's going to sting. Especially when the NFC championship game would have been very winnable for them.
I don't know, outside of a few years where we won a SB, this is how a Packers season usually ends. We're good enough to win, don't capitalise on opportunities, somebody chokes, we lose and then look at the remaining teams and think - we could have taken them. Is what it is. Can't be stung if you are numb to it.

Because Rodgers and GuteKUNT could never get on the same page. Gute would draft a fucking QB and a bust RB when they were in the NFCCG the year prior. He'd let guys walk Rodgers liked instead of paying them 3 million dollars to stick around. Traded away guys Rodgers liked to work with and didn't negatively impact the cap. That's not even including all the busts GuteKUNT had instead of helping out the offense.

If you think the Packers front office has been competent you're a dense mother fucker. They've been blessed with QB talent for 30+ years and squandered it outside of 2 runs. They could be like the Patriots. Except with a guy who's exponentially better at throwing the football than Brady.
Definitely have to separate the end of Rodgers time and what happened over the course of his career, tho.

Given NFL standards the FO is competent for sure lol. Majority of the league can only dream of having the current roster construction of the Packers.

Rodgers is the GOAT thrower, but lets be real his guys Lazard and Cobb are certainly nothing to write home about. Most of his other buddies that Gutekunst cut have washed out of the league with the quickness. Biggest flaw was not being honest with each other and not letting Aaron go to the Jets or Broncos earlier.

Fuck the 49ers. :(

For the past month i have only heard how love is the next in line after favre and rodgers. now i guarantee we will hear all offseason about whether or not he is the guy there

It wasn't Lazard, Cobb was a Rodgers guy. A locker room guy. He should have never been let go. There are others he's mentioned I can't remember. There was a solid 10 years they never drafted an ILB when they desperately needed one, instead drafting a bust safety or some can who washed out of the league. Rodgers has only ever had 1 good receiver at any time outside of 3 years when Jennings was a good #2. They never signed anyone to help him out. They did a good job drafting o-line and that's it.

Not that much to disagree here (he's mentioned a bunch of guys, but the ones when Gute was in charge for washed out relatively quickly, you can imagine it was a big discussion at the time ;) ). Gutekunst has his faults like everyone, but I hope he can manage the next few years better than what happened to Rodgers in his prime.

Have to get some sleep, enjoy the rest of the yoffs and read up on draft prospects so I can overreact on the 5 Top 100 picks lol. Good night, bud.

In an alternate universe, Gute doesn't low ball Odell and the Pack win the SB in 2021. Rodgers retires with ring #2 and Love gets the keys to the castle in 2022.

Shanahan is part of the Shanahan coaching tree that won a SB against the Packers many years ago. Beating Packers is in Shanahan blood.
Packers head coach Matt Lefleur is part of this tree. Packers have Shanahan coaching.

Of course, this is well known. Casuals like yourself may not know that Lefluer established himself as the bottom very early on in the relationship.

Yeah so i can guarantee that 4th quarter isn't going to change the fact that he's the guy there
not saying he isn't. just that all the hot take guys on radio and tv will now question him after kissing his ass.
