Already calling it. Barkley will be a non-factor with 60 total yards. A 72 yard rushing TD will be called back on a weak holding call.

Hurts will fumble near the goal line. Icing on the cake Mahomes hip drop tackle penalty to seal it.

Sad to me the NFL has gone the way of the NBA. Short term gains from the Chiefs storyline will probably cost the league in the long run.

I'm sure Reid for ages now must be telling his linemen and players to just commit penalties if you have, and to embellish "penalties" being committed against them, to and leave it in the hands of the referees who are turning the blind eye or being super sensitive depending on the situation on what seems every big, potentially momentum shifting play.

That said, I think Reid and company are master play callers.

MLB somehow has more parity than the NFL. Awful Super Bowl matchup for everyone outside of KC and Philly.

This. There needs to be some parity in the worst way in the offseason. I read something like in the past 10 years (not counting this year) the only QB's to win a Super Bowl not named Mahomes or Brady are Stafford, Foles, Manning and Wilson. Just throwing this out there to "try" and make the game better.

  1. Go back to the old kickoff rules. These new kickoffs suck.
  2. No more having to announce an onside kick.
  3. Top 2 teams in each conference do not play the 5 worst teams in the NFL from the previous season unless those teams are within the division. For example, the Panthers were one of the 5 worst teams before this year started and somehow the Chiefs played them this year. That should have never been allowed. On the other hand the Giants are one of the worst teams this year but they are in the same division as the Eagles so they will still have to play them.
  4. Get rid of the tush push.
  5. Once a QB is running out of the pocket they are considered a RB and can be hit as such even when sliding.
  6. Flopping is a 10 yard penalty.

Yeah, Allen won't fall off a cliff anytime soon, but he won't be peak GOATAllen for much longer. He will be 29 this spring and has had a good bill of health so far in his career, but I could see him getting hurt next year and coming back a lesser, but still capable version of himself.

Allen has a better chance than Mahomes has next year imo. Of course things need to play out but the AFC West might be a bloodbath next year. It's too early to tell what the Jets will be since they don't even have a QB right now and McDaniel is gone after next year.

It's absolutely absurd what kind of and how many major (wrong) decisions went in the Eagles and Chiefs way in these playoffs, no one can be surprised that this shit is called "scripted" and has been for some time now. The Eagles at least would have pretty surely won all of their games anyway, but the Chiefs would be most definitely out if it wasn't for the refs.

The problem is that the media won't address it accordingly, because after all they would be stupid to bite the hand that feeds them.

The game was decided by 5 calls that all went against the bills. Didn’t think the refs would pull this since so much spotlight was made before the game but I’m not surprised. And then still came down to another player not being able to make a catch.

The script was in

Wins and losses aren’t a qb stat but I think the bills defense averages 38points against in their playoff losses. If only Allen knew how to motivate his defense like a prime Brady or burrwoat in that fluke year.

Time to trade up for Travis Hunter GOAT

I get what you're saying but I happen to think that the Bills way overachieved this year by a wide margin. Before the season how many people had them going to the AFC title game? Also, how do you motivate the defense when as you said all 5 calls went against the Bills? On top of that there were at least 3 possessions on top of what you mentioned where there was holding by the KC O-Line and it as never called. How do you motivate a team to defend against that?

If the refs weren't involved in many of their games at best that game yesterday would have been played in Orchard Park, not Arrowhead. The Chiefs should have at least 2 more losses on their record this year minimum. The one that comes to mind automatically is the game against the Falcons where defensive P.I. was not called against the Chiefs on one of the last plays of the game.

The best part was in that Philly Comandos game where there was a fumble almost exactly like the one in the Packers game but had the exact opposite ref decision. That was my favorite part.
