I would be really happy to get Penix tbh. He has elite deep throws that cannot be taught. If he can stop doing the Derek Carr sacking himself he has a ton of potential.

Pretty easily the best thrower in this class imo.

Cant wait to see how this draft shakes out. I dont think teams give a damn about his or Dix age anymore. QBs are playing to late 30s regularly. A lot of these guys would likely be more successful in the NFL with more playing time in college.

Its not about longevity its about development in a pro system. Guys who are older will be more established with what they've been coached through or, let them get away with.

Well, kind of furthers my point depending what system theyre playing in. But ya, you dont necessarily want someone who has been playing back yard ball his entire college career
