I remember it coming out that they asked him to drop the injury guarantee but I thought it was just the very end of the season. Didnt know the league got involved either.

That had to have been such a shitty environment for player and staff alike. Cornball has to be the nicest guy ever to catch that many strays lol.

Either the players union or actual league need to blow this up on whoever is full of shit. Its a really bad look for whoever is the liar in the situation.

I guess most of it was covered by local media so I’d heard the story. Apparently it’s all been resolved at this point, but yeah, huge props to Rustle for dealing with that shit.

lol, when I first heard Fields might be coming to the Steelers I was instantly like "Nooo" and then my brain gave me the old "Come on dude, get off your high horse. You watched a dozen games of Kenny Pickett."

Tbh, if Fields never got a lick better (which looks like a real possibility), hes still taking both of them to the Playoffs. It could be hilariously worse.

Same but two seasons of Desmond Ridder. Fields would be like Prime Vick walking through the door. Hell, Baker Mayfield would be like Mahomes to me!
