That's not to say she beats the men, of course she doesn't, but it doesn't matter. Lawler would get torn apart by 150 lbs chimps worse than he can tear Holm apart, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate what he has accomplished given his natural limitations.

She's dominated in sports which are niche. Women's boxing and Women's Kickboxing are far from accomplished and certified sports - the level of competition is not high in those sports, combat sports as a whole are very niche towards women.

Lawler has beaten people of a level that doesn't exist in women's combat sports, and that isn't their fault - it's just reality. Lawler is a beast, and doesn't get anywhere near enough credit.

The modern human male are as designed for fist fights as dogs are designed to do math. The best human male fighters would get torn apart by regular sized male chimpanzees worse than the human male can tear apart a human female. If you're going to discredit Holm you might as well discredit Lawler along the same line. Pick a random chimp at the zoo and he'll tear Lawler apart, pick a random adult male and chances are Holm will own his ass.

The only thing the humans excel at over other land species is endurance. The best human ultra endurance runners would beat any other land animal in that category. So if you want to give credit to someone give credit to them, not Lawler.

So should you really give credit to Jon Jones when he's basically a football flunkie? Lawler isn't even half the fighter Jones is, if Jones deserves no credit, neither does he.
