Where are they? This sport has been built with the help of Brazilian superstars from the Nogs, Shogun, Werdum, Jacare, Vitor, Wandy, Anderson, JDS and on but I just don't see the same level of talent in the young Brazilian fighters.

Obviously Thomas Almeida tops the list but who else is a future star? Lineker, Warlley Alves and I can't even think of anymore.

Need to do another ufc Brazil with Werdum and JDS as coaches

I can't see any. No fighters with personality showing up

Almeida isn't a superstar just cause he wears ugly sunglasses in doors

Well, there is Amanda Nunes (27 years-old). I don't think she'll beat Tate or became a superstar though.

Edit: and there's also Gadelha (same age as Nunes).

just because they've churned out a bunch of legendary fighters at one generation, doesn't mean it'll happen again for the next.

It doesn't mean it will happen but Brazil is a huge country and churns out plenty of stars in soccer. Mma is huge in Brazil, ID be very surprised if there isn't a next wave of fighters.

So is Aldo a current, past, or future star in the UFC?

One would think that with the multi-thousand Gracie's, someone would rise up but, nada!
Seem content staying in BJJ.

There are gaps in true world class elite talent in sports, it skips generations when it comes to the full package, and there are a lot of variables to consider when it comes to MMA. Certain elite athletes would only have limited techniques in standup etc and that limits there true abilities in the sport. Also the past Brazilian fighters have been usurped and fleshed out by the rest of the world fighters, so they have too have to adapt, come back better then ever further elevating the gold standard of world class in this new sport.

From the looks of it almeida seems legit.
