Newbie type question

sorry for the n00b question but what is the difference between long shorts and board shorts?

 

If your talking about the Tapous shorts then it's simple. The board shorts are board shorts (no scarcasm intended) meaning the material is much thicker than the long shorts. I think they are just overall a more durable and heavier material.

 

so what would be better for training...long shorts?

 

Yes. The long shorts are what most fighters wear.
