News New UFC Restructured Bonuses!

I wonder if UFC will still give the $25K bonuses to fighters who win by doctor's stoppages or tell them they don't count as real finishes to skip paying them lol.

UFC just doubled the performance bonuses & introduced an entirely new bonus and you're already complaining it's not good enough lol.
If a fighter earned both the FOTN and won by finish why wouldn't they get both bonuses?

So a company worth 10-12+ billion can save $25 grand.

Pay them.

Even at this new rate they are still underpaid as fuck.

Yes. I am still complaining.

People getting fucked in the ass are not required to submit a thank you card for a reacharound.

Cool. UFC upped their bonuses to what they should have been 10-15 years ago.

20 years ago UFC was barely profitable and paid 50k

Since then the company went from $100m revenue to over 1 BILLION.
That's 100x

And they finally went 2x with bonuses.

Definitely LOVE the finish bonus. You eat what you kill.

Is there any clarification on if you do get the fight of the night bonus and I finished you get 125K???

Cause that would mean like the most exciting fighters could really start raking it in

Hopefully, this leads some more exciting fights. Everyone’s just going for the finish and trying to be exciting to get all this extra cash.

They should've done this a long time ago, but at least they did it so kudos to them.

The only thing I wished they'd do is give an optional "Fight Of The Night" bonus at $250K per fighter ($500K split between 2) to reward fighters who put on a legendary epic war.

It would be completely outside of the "Performance" bonuses, but I think it would be a real nice way to reward fighters that are going through absolute hellfire and coming back to make something special for all us bloodthirsty heathens.

I've been saying they should attach a bonus to finishes for years. It's about fucking time. I'm also glad they kicked up performance bonuses as a whole.

Additionally, all you cans whining without Gaethje openly complaining about money can see first hand why he was, and the effects of it.

$25k for any finish is a good move. Low end prelim guys up in a fight don’t take risks because if they lose they lose half their paycheck vs coasting to a decision

Guys stuck on $14/$14s are probably salivating at that $25K bonus for a finish. Now people don't have to worry as much about a bigger name or better finish later on the card. It's a great idea.
