If you're not a PPV drawl and you turn down 2 fights then the UFC should be able to cut you at their discretion.

I'm ok with it in extreme cases where you've earned it. Gsp is a legend who took all comers for a decade, he deserves to pick his last few fights. Other guys who have not paid their dues or have not contributed much really shouldn't be able to.

well... the one who ducked recently the most and was very open about this is just negotiating a money fight with GSP.

So Dana just create a rule to get rid of fighters who are inconvenient for him.

Conor PPVs were responsible for over 40% of total 2016 PPV revenue, UFC's best year. Conor is a much bigger star than GSP globally. Outside of Canada the average person doesn't even know who GSP is.

yeah he made more per event in the 5 events where he fought as a star. GSP has made way more for the UFC in total.

DUH, Conor was headlining shows 1 year into the UFC. When you talk about money someone is making a company, of course you start counting only after said person has entered the company. Why would the money UFC made before Conor entered be relevant in any way? Like I said, 2016 was a record year for the UFC and Conor was responsible for half of that cheddar in their record year. He deserves to sit out as long as he wants.

And if you didn't notice he was stripped and there's been 2x UFC tried putting on the interim LW title fight.

So far only Conor & GSP have tried it. And good for them.

Woodley tried it and now it's RDA/Colby for the interim.

Yes, in the years he is in the UFC, he's responsible for half their profit. Nobody is talking about the entire history of the UFC, that's just common sense, something you apparently lack.

And no, GSP has not made UFC way more money than Conor, GSP is a nobody compare to Conor. Conor made way more money in one fight than GSP did in his entire career. Conor is a global star while GSP is only a name known outside of the MMA community in Canada and nowhere else. He's nothing compared to Conor.
