These are the gloves my son uses in his amateur fights and he had 7 fights and 4 out of 6 wins were by submission , 3 armbars n 1 RNC so they are good for grappling .

Maybe that are not good for grappling. Maybe it's just that your is son awesome enough to overcome crappy gloves.

Dirty fighters who poke are going to do it anyway. Damage will already be done. The solution is preventing life long permanent eye damage.

How many times have you seen a guy kick someone in the nuts, then try to get the ref think the guy who was kicked is faking it?

UFC didn't even really make it big mainstream on broadcast TV. What do you think would happen if on a broadcast FOX show a UFC fighter gets his eye poked super bad? Would sponsors stick around or leave? Would viewers leave?
