Elections New poll shows Biden falling badly, three-way tie for Democratic lead

Dude, you are among the most unhinged of the Bernie bots. Literally condemning polls in every other Thread and then salivating on the one who puts on a result to you agree with.

Why should this poll take more merit than the politico and Emerson ones today that showed Biden at 30+ points?

I just did a thread on this, and clearly stated my position. That polls have some ball park value, and have as much as a 10% variance. You voted in the poll for that thread.

What is hilarious is someone posting about two polls with methodology no one can undermine, that show 10% variance, and then claiming I am unhinged.

Dude, you just proved my position.

Your position is that "it's happening" and "today is a good day" because one outlier poll shows a near 3 way tie while two others show a 11-13 point Biden lead.

Your point is you're pro polling when it fits your desired outcome. Think it's pretty obvious

It's not one poll.

You know this, but are doing damage control.

Meh. That's a tiny sample size and it doesn't match up with any of the other Polls. I'm still wondering if this whole thing is for real, or if the 'Democrats aren't still hiding their REAL candidate from us all until the last possible minute... ;)

Which other poll has them tied or has Sanders winning?

I didn't claim that one existed.

I was saying that many polls show biden's lead shrinking. This poll showed the furthest drop yet.

You want to be real?

The only polls we should be talking about are polls for Iowa, NH, SC, Nevada, Texas, and California. Who wins those states, will shape who the likely nominee is.

What I saw was the mainstream media along with the DNC try to rig the election in Hillary's favor including giving her debate questions ahead of time. Maybe you missed all the machinations and dishonesty on the left last election. Its part of the reason you lost and some of you still don't seem to acknowledge or understand it.

I think you need to hear from @Trotsky he has a persuasive argument against this so called "rigging" you speak of....

And then two new polls today showing Biden is regaining. Sooooooo, how about you wait till a few months before making another asisnine thread?

Dude, if those are the only polls we should be talking about, why make this thread? Answer to that is you cream yourself over polls that show what you want and dismiss ones you dont

It's a game. I didn't hear you calling anyone out that was playing it when Biden was showing a huge lead.

So let's not pretend you aren't playing the same game.

Which game? Biden has constantly been leading and I haven't started one thread on it. Nor am I claiming state polls should be the only ones we should be talking about yet starting one over a single national poll.

As per usual, you're playing with yourself

Which other poll has them tied or has Sanders winning?
There's a second similar poll showing it very tight, but yeah it's most likely that Biden still carries a pretty strong lead.

The good news for Sanders and Warren is that you don't overperform by that much even in outlier polls unless you're doing well. Biden is def. not favored vs. the field at this point.

Which other poll has them tied or has Sanders winning?

Economist/YouGov from a few days ago. It had Biden 22, Sanders 19, Elizabeth 18, Harris 8, Buttigieg 8, MOE +/ 2.6%.

Also out today is Emerson with Biden 31 Sanders 24 Elizabeth , MOE +/ 3.9%.

OTOH Morning Consult/CNN/Fox/The Hill/Quinnipiac have been very similar in showing Biden around 30, Sanders and Elizabeth around 17.

The new Quinnipiac is coming out in seven hours. Biden was at 32 there at the beginning of the month. Let's see if there's any change.

What would that prove? You're aware the poll is showing a three way tie between he, Bernie and Warren, yes? And I'm not trying to be condescending but that means he has equal odds of winning if the polls are accurate. All I'm saying is that it's plausible, not that we should write him off.

I just don't trust polls. IMHO they have a tendency to be biased.

Quinnipiac has Biden at 32 still, Warren at 19, Sanders at 15
USA Today/Suffolk has Biden at 32, Warren at 14, Sanders at 12

hello Jack V Savage,

Anyone who suggested that Sanders was getting a boost for opposing the TPP is nuts, I think.

i disagree. at any rate, i'm unclear how you'd measure your claim one way or another.

For one thing, it wasn't an issue that was really on the public's radar.

for around 2/3 of the public, you're probably right. for around 1/3 of the public, you're probably wrong.

Jack, i haven't made the claim that bashing the TPP was a "make or break" policy issue - it was a piece of the larger picture - a picture of ignorant nationalism. you can disagree, and i respect your opinion, but that's how i see it.

For another, most people who had an opinion on it supported it. I think the most reasonable explanation for Clinton opposing it is just that she didn't agree with it, or at least didn't think it was worth fighting for.

https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-...y-clinton-now-opposes-trans-pacific-partners/

it was a move of political convenience where she went against her convictions (and i agreed with her convictions) to display her lefty bona fides.

Yeah it's looking like that poll was a real outlier.
