First off I wanna introduce myself to the site WASSUH DUDE! Thanks for having me and I hope to stick around and enjoy some interesting topics and get more involved with people who actually know MMA/UFC. so with that said Id like to start my thread with this guy.

CODY "No Love" Garbrandt !!

Am I the only one that see's this guy going places in the Bantamweight division??? This guy has champion Potential I promise you. I was there Sunday night at UFN88 to witness his amazing victory over Thomas Almeida and seeing him become the 1 in Almeidas 21-0 record, now being 21-1. I knew Almeida was going down that night due to Almeida almost being taken out by Brad Picket, before he landed that beautiful flying knee. But back to Garbrandt, this guy has knockout power, great stand up and the fact he comes out of the ALPHA MALE camp you know damn well he has ground game. You cant be in Fabers camp an not work on ground control. Not to mention ( may just be me ) but this guy also has that "it" factor/ star power. Not Mcgregor caliber....yet....but none the less star power. You felt his rise that night at UFN88 along with his rise to #7 in the BW division. Now it looks like hes wanting to take on Miesha Tates man Bryan Caraway for UFC 203....but the same night Garbrandt fought, Caraway did to......I wasnt impressed at all and I know Caraway has the fighter spirit and a great training camp, but not enough to take out Garbrandt. Im saying knockout! Along with the Caraway fight, Garbrandt and Cruz have been exchanging a few back an fourths over twitter along with Faber on UFC tonight saying to Cruz "Garbrandt will smash you". Garbrandt is good and again he will rise but he needs to wait for Cruz. Keep climbing man youll get there. Anyways rant done......what yall think about this rising fighter. I WANT ALL INCITE!!

Garbrandt is kind of an unknown commodity besides his formidable hands. I don't think I recall him being in trouble, and he hasn't had to adjust much, interested to see what he's got I'm his back pocket

Cruz would dance all over Cody. Cody has some good hands tho, respect for that.

Go to mayberry or buy a platinum then. As for the topic at hand, Caraway could very well beat Cody, he has a great chin and also very good grappling. Cody has a really high ceiling though, so i'm excited to see how he does in the future.

You seem kinda new to mma so let me give you some advice. Try not to get too emotionally invested in any fighter, and dont ever start thinking you can predict the outcome of any fight just because you lucked out and guessed the last one right. And most importantly, dont start threads with "Am I the only one...".

As for Cody, he's on a good streak right now, but he could get blown out in his next fight and people will start calling him overated, washed up, exposed, etc... welcome to sherdog.
