I'm mixed on it. On one hand, he's a former LW champion. On the other hand, he's competed there like twice in four years.

I think a former champion that's still relevant should be top 10. I think you have to beat the top ten out of him. 1-2 doesn't do that imo.

Circumstances made him a champion. Not going on a streak at the weight class before fighting a champion. No defending the belt.
Hes only relevant because media makes him relevant. Hes not relevant in terms of wins in the division. His record at lw in ufc speaks for itself. Not a top 10 fighter
