New GSP video interview, talks rehab and possible comeback

kinda in the middle of wether he should come back or not. Dont wanna see him on a decline losing to up and commers. If he can be the guy he was then i welcome it.

No need to come back unless he really wants to just compete. He has nothing to prove. Stay retired and healthy. You earned it champ!

He should never ever come back - he would have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Millions of more $$$, more fans and greater legacy.

Yeah, nothing to gain...

Doesn't need to the money, if u ain't a gsp fan already then chances are u won't b, the sport hit a plateau, not many new fans jumping on, already has the greatest legacy of any ww, maybe even in the sport, he has a greater chance of hurting his legacy then improving it, ex. Anderson Silva, Fedor

he wont come back except for a one off money fight. guarantee it. Georges is a thinking man. Hes very aware of the risks to his health and legacy. he knows coming back seriously after an ACL rehab on both knees is suicide.

Thanks for the vid. Seems like the same chat but longer than the other vid.

Of course no pro athletes should ever need money, but (1) many WANT more money and (2) sadly, many who have made 10x or 20x more than GSP go bankrupt and need money like Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Scottie Pippen to name just three.

As for new fans, well, absolutely he could gain more fans, like any sport, there are always new fans, even if it is in declining numbers, especially international ones. Kobe Bryant gained MILLIONS of new fans in China well after he "saturated" his fan base in the US.

Lastly, while he already has the greatest legacy of any WW, GSP can improve his legacy by fighting and winning at MW. Maybe he could surpass Anderson Silva and Fedor?

I'd prefer he'd not come back.

He's one of the few that retired "well".

There is nothing more he can do to improve his legacy. The guy's a legend already.

Come back and finish Hendricks, then fight for the middle weight belt and win. Boom best fighter to ever live
