New Book "Chasing Hillary"

This is a perfect example of bias which is rampant.

To me, she looks like someone who is being taken to a place for the first time. You're reading into stuff that just isn't there.

I'm not biased, I'm from England and for what it's worth, if I was American I'd have probably voted for her based on policy.

It's not biased to point out she was really shit at connecting with the electorate compared to her predecessor or her rival.

Viewing pictures and assigning a deeper meaning is most certainly showing your bias and it has nothing to do with where you live.

The fact is we can look at pictures and see something very different. I have my biases too, we're human. But I don't see how you can logically assign her thoughts the way you did.

The answer is who gives a fuck? And the irony of you calling people snowflakes. I mean, you're rustled that she said she keeps hot sauce for fucks sake.

so you cant answer a yes or go question that typifies that your candidate must pander and be inauthentic at every possible turn. shocking.

this is the problem with the democratic party and partisan politics in general. no one can admit their team made a mistake

I have no idea if she was really telling the truth or not dude. I don't know or care what she keeps in her pocket book. And others pointed out that it's been reported for years that she does.

The real problem is people take these dumb issues and make mountains out of mole hills.

It's defined by politicians with a R after their name. That is, they are Republicans. I thought I could count on you to understand commonly accepted terms for discussing politics, my bad.

Now that you understand what is meant by the right in the context we are talking about, my position (which is obvious) is that the right uses tactics to portray liberals as condescending assholes. They want people living in the middle of the country to hate the coastal elites with college educations and drink Starbucks. And it works. It's working on you.

I don't know you so I have no idea what makes you susceptible. I think generally speaking it's a form of bias that people fall for. You're certainly not uniquely falling for something.

Certainly we have posters in here that are condescending but what I think is going on is that when people describe why you're wrong about something and display some knowledge or facts you think it's condescending when it's not. I've personally experienced this with you, so it's reasonable to think you're making mistakes. Sometimes people just know more about shit than you do (or me) so it feels like they're acting superior. But they are and there's no way to be gentle with someone who argues from a position of ignorance.

In fact, some people are so sensitive just speaking intelligently makes them think you're being condescending.

Ok. Republicans. Gotcha. Either way, none of that invalidates the concept of group characteristics. And that's what I commented on. My observation that the left paints themselves through their own behavior. No help needed.

So begging the question it is (your pivot to it being a character flaw rather than brainwashing notwithstanding). Funny how you employ a logical fallacy in order to be condescending. You saying I must not be making up my own mind because I don't agree with you is pretty condescending. Saying I can't recognize condescension is condescending. And to add to the humor, you're not even presenting any knowledge or facts to counter anything I've said. But thanks for agreeing with me there really are condescending posters here. I eagerly await someone else telling me who they are. In the meantime, I'm gonna go out and find the bastard that mislead me into thinking you can't take a joke.:cool:

you really think hilary clinton carries hot sauce in her purse? what kind? does she only carry it when she is in the south?

comments like these are why anyone with an iq over 80 considers you a joke

Of course she does. It's one of the things we can confirm the easiest. Many, many people have observed and commented on it, and she's mentioned it going back 20 years. It's not even controversial, and your reaction shows why actual non-hacks and non-idiots here run into problems with your type.

As for what kind, used to be Tabasco and now it's Ninja something. Look it up.

Hillary ran a shitty campaign. She ran not to lose. Much like a football team that is up two touchdowns in the 4th quarter that try to run out the clock, play prevent defense and end up losing the game.
She also is not likeable, so much so I did not vote for her. She was establishment and let Trump get away with bullshit. See keep on saying go to my website, when she should have attacked him with facts, which is Trumps weakness.

what kind of hot sauce? does it vary by region?

please link these reports of 20 years of hot sauce on her person reports.

more importantly, do you believe her?

So who is the one generalizing now? Again, the idea that the left, as a group, is condescending is silly yet you keep pushing it. And your evidence is your experience in the WR?

So begging the question it is (your pivot to it being a character flaw rather than brainwashing notwithstanding). Funny how you employ a logical fallacy in order to be condescending. You saying I must not be making up my own mind because I don't agree with you is pretty condescending.

There was no pivot, we are having a conversation and I try to give an effort to address points you bring up even if it's not perfectly related to my own points. Fucking sue me man.

And that isn't what I'm saying but I'm not sure what part of my post is leading you to believe that.

Saying I can't recognize condescension is condescending.

No it isn't and this is exactly the problem I described. I cannot honestly call it how I see it without you perceiving it as condescending. Let's assume I was right and you are bad at identifying condescension. Your logic is that simply pointing out that fact is condescending. Point proven.

And to add to the humor, you're not even presenting any knowledge or facts to counter anything I've said.

You're not providing facts to support your position. You only brought up your WR experience.

But thanks for agreeing with me there really are condescending posters here. I eagerly await someone else telling me who they are. In the meantime, I'm gonna go out and find the bastard that mislead me into thinking you can't take a joke.:cool:

I guess I missed your punchline.

Is Hillary highly intelligent and well-educated yes.

Nobody can honestly claim otherwise.

But that is not enough.

You have to be able to make people believe in you and your message and you can't make mistakes like the deplorables comment,FBI investigation ect.Huma, debra schultz, what does it matter ect.

Hillary has never had the charisma speaking ability and personality of Bill and Obama to make people believe in them and overlook their flaws.

Hillary has also proven to be stubborn and unwilling to concede a mistake unless forced into doing so.

Hillary is highly intelligent and well-educated but her character flaws did her in.

Again a less intelligent less succesful female Richard Nixon.
She literally oozes corruption. She never disclosed funding the DNC during the primaries. Why in the world would you set up your own server in your bathroom or basement or wherever it was? Why would you shut down your charitable Foundation after you lost the presidency? What could you have possibly said to the Russians in an hour long speech that was worth $500,000? Trump said it best by giving her the name Crooked Hillary.

I answered what kind already. Not sure why it would vary by region.

Etc.

Of course I believe her. The alternative theory is that she's spent more than 20 years trying to put over a hoax that she loves hot sauce and brings it everywhere, and that attempt has involved saying it in multiple interviews, and having people around her say it. That's completely fucking crazy.

When hotsaucegate was first debunked, I commented:

So watch what happens here. The initial claim is refuted in an absolutely definitive way. No honest person can still accuse her of pandering there (and if you watch the video, her and the host are obviously joking with each other). And yet, three months from now, people are going to forget the facts and remember the claim or the impression formed by the false claim. That's how good people get their reps smeared even when the attacks are based on disproven lies.

What in the bloody hell are you talking about?

Bill's platform was pro-big business neoliberalism that negatively affected the poor.

What exactly was overly "progressive" about Clinton?

Back in the 90’s, nobody was waving Mexican flags while burning American flags. Remember California during this election?

I can’t seem to recall Hillary denouncing these folks. Like always, she pandered to them.

There was a famous bill moment during a confrontation with a voter. She was criticizing their crackdown on drugs, the super predators and all that, and instead of being a coward and pandering to the woman, Bill man’d up and told her these predators are selling drugs to kids.

Also, let’s not forget back then bill wanted a secure border, etc.

How many terrorist attacks were happening in the heat of election season in Europe? At one point there was an attack every 10 days. Where were democrats denouncing radical Islam?

Pulse night club terrorist attack. She invites his fucking father on stage.

Michael Browns mom at the dnc??? Where was that bitch while her son was throwing away his life.

Jesus Christ, you’re reminding me how utter shit the democrats are and why I abandon the party.

conde nast, dude. did you read that hard hitting article? i didnt see mention of 20 years there, since i know you love to quibble.

i certainly believe her.

confirmation bias is great.

and btw, weren't you the first one to bring up hot sauce in this thread?

It's been consistent for more than 20 years (whenever people ask one thing she always carries with her, she says hot sauce). The oldest example I cited was more than 20 years ago, but then there are some that are less than 20 years. I didn't say that she said it once more than 20 years ago.

i certainly believe her.

Really, because you were just attacking people for not buying the GOP story on that, and implying that it was impossible to believe her. As I noted, you see that you're wrong here, but the false impression that your mistake led you to will remain, and you'll forget in time that the claim was debunked.

and btw, weren't you the first one to bring up hot sauce in this thread?

I was not. Obviously. Why would I bring it up? I pointed out that it came up again, and that it's the perfect illustration of the craziness we see with Clinton and the right because it's based on her just giving an honest answer to a simple question, which leads to nutters making all kinds of ugly attacks and thinking that it's evidence for her being some kind of monster.

Here's the link:

Were talking about a lady who was interviewed by hip hop artists and they asked her what she always keeps in her purse, she said "hot sauce".

She will literally say anything to get people to vote for her. Nothing she says is genuine. Why would you believe anything she says? She lies and manipulates people with her fake persona.

LOL I don't even know how to respond to this dumpster fire.

Hillary didn't pander to people burning the American flag, which did not make up any meaningful portion of the electorate. Want me to find a picture of a couple random Nazis and then say Trump is pandering to them because he didn't specifically address them? (shit, he actually did refuse to condemn Nazis in Charlottesville, and did pander to them).

Also, Hillary wanted a secure border too. She voted for a fucking border fence.

Also, Hillary has stuck up for those same shitty welfare and criminal justice policies, just like Bill did, and for the same reductive, hollow "they are selling drugs to kids!" type of reasoning you're citing.

Clinton has repeatedly sided with white America and with police over POC identity interests. You're just hysterically trying to draw differences that aren't there, because she *gasp* chose not to affirmatively and openly disparage and defame racial minorities.

If these are the reasons you left the Democratic Party, you should be ashamed for not being mature enough to be a member of the democracy, but you are voting along stupid, meaningless identity political lines, to the detriment of substantive policy. My god, it's reminscent of when Lois runs for mayor in Family Guy and just riles up voters by saying "9'11."

"Red pepper flakes and a mini bottle of Tabasco Sauce for adding spice to her meals."

first of all, terrible choices.

secondly, how long does a mini bottle of tobasco last a hot sauce enthusiast? the question was in reference to overseas travel.

btw, nice edits too
