New Adult Animated series to premiere on the WWE Network May 1st "Camp WWE"

Back around the early 00s my buddies and I came up with an idea for a show - it'd be animated, in pretty much this style, but it would be like the WWE stars are schoolkids, and the office personnel / legends (Vince, Sgt. Slaughter, etc) would be like the school administration / teachers.

And it would pretty much just be a kids in school animated comedy. No wrestling at all, but over the end credits there'll be very short scenes/clips of them doing their signature moves/finishers. But just move clips - in a ring, but definitely not full matches or anything more than very short sequences. Maybe even just the credits over stills of the signature moves.

So the WWE is making a cartoon for adults, but making their main product for children.

Only in the WWE.

Sounds like a rip off of Daniel Tosh's Brickleberry

I'm not done talking asshole! LOL

I hope there's current stars in this and not just retired ones and Vince

Actually, they've been turning it up a little lately...shades of The Attitude Era!

Said every year when Wrestlemania rolls around...

I'd welcome it, but a few moments here and there doesn't mean anything. Seriously, how many times did you hear that stuff when Punk was at the forefront? Too many. They always revert back to the tame, safe shit.

If Enzo isn't cutting obviously rehearsed promos, and Reigns remains a cocky prick in a few weeks time, I'll be a bit more optimistic.

Did anybody else watch this? Aside from Ric Flair I thought it was kind of stupid.

I'd rather watch a "Worst of Family Guy" collection.

The McMahon line where he says "It was all a work. I did it to teach you a lesson." Cena "What lesson was that?" McMahon "Uhhhhhhhhh" The only thing I laughed at....but I laughed pretty hard.

Hearing Vince go full Vince and curse is a good novelty so far.

Show has potential, the people involved with it have a solid track record, can't really base the entire series on a pilot.

Seinfeld's first show was the lowest scored and lowest rated program its first year.....not saying this is Seinfeld or anything, just using precedence.

Whole lotta "it's just the pilot ! every pilot sucks !" in here
