As part of the announced Netflix / Warner Bros deal, I noticed this line:

"However, Netflix will gain control of TNT Sports UK & Ireland, which broadcasts Premier League and Champions League football and international rugby matches, as it is not among the TV assets due to be spun off from WBD."

Currently in the UK we get UFC via TNT Sports on the Discovery app via subscription. Since I only have that for UFC, it moving to Netflix would be a much better deal both in terms of paying for less services and the quality of the app.

Interesting. Makes me wonder if this is something they're trying out in Europe and if they like the results will they to go to Netflix if the Paramount+ deal doesn't go the way they want it?

I mean, they can either start making it as easy and accessible to watch as possible, or fans will just keep streaming it for free.

It's one of the only things they've done recently that shows any regard for the big picture vs short term gains, putting the sport on as many easy to find and widely available platforms is a W.

(Until a price hike or 2 fucks it all up eventually lol)
