Netflix Recommendations

King of the Hill is always a great watch.

VPN I'm sure.

No way the US Netflix is better than the British Netflix.

Get on the British Netflix and watch the Inbetweeners.

Inbewtweeners is on the American Netflix. Best show about school ever.

Comedies:

It's Always Sunny in Philly
Arrested Development
That 70's Show
Malcolm in the Middle
Blue Mountain State
Trailer Park Boys
The League
Frasier
Cheers

Drama:

Dexter
Sons of Anarchy
Breaking Bad
House of Cards
Walking Dead
Lost
24
American Horror Story

I recently went through Malcolm in the Middle again and it's just as funny as it was when it was on the air. I had never watched Blue Mountain State when it was on the air but holy shit is that show funny. The rest you've probably heard of before but I still have to recommend them.

Both The Inbetweeners and IT Crowd are funny as hell and I never even would have known about them if not for Netflix. Same with Trailer Park Boys from Canada. Fucking love TPB but it's an acquired taste.

I just finished the second season of "The Killing", I would recommend it.

The shield and tralier park boys.

Breaking bad if u haven't seen it

US Netflix is better than other countries for US based TV shows. Canada gets newer movies earlier.

Try the hola plugin with chrome and you can switch countries.
Back when I had Netflix, the US version didn't have season 7 of It's Always Sunny and the UK version did.

The UK version also had good British sitcoms like the Inbetweeners which wasn't on the US version, Bottom and Gavin & Stacey.

I watched The Inbetweeners when it was actually on TV, and have it on DVD :icon_chee

Although, if you want to watch some British stuff, give Peep Show a try, and Pete vs. Life.
Already have watched Peep Show.

Agreed.

24 is a great way to burn a weekend if you haven't seen it.

There's this show on here, Borgia, I'm really liking it. Not the series with Jeremy Irons, its another one, its excellent if you're into that sort of thing.

I don't know who told you that, but as a Canadian subscriber I can tell you that that is bullshit. The Canadian Netflix has about 25% of the content that the US version has. It's quite pathetic actually. We'll get maybe one or two new high profile movies a month. Newest one I saw was Maniac, and we got that a month after it was on the US version.

Agreed.

Well, if you haven't already seen them, watch Father Ted and The IT Crowd, both written by Graham Linehan, Father Ted ended 15 years ago, and still holds up today.

I recommend "The Fall" - good show, good cast, good acting. Different than most crime dramas, it's not a typical whodunit. Highly recommended for anyone interested in serial killers.

Also has Barristan Selmy and Roose Bolton from Game of Thrones in it!

Nobody needed to tell me because when I cross into Canada my devices reset to Canada Netflix. Many movies (particularly newer) are not available in the US.

I recommend you get the Hola chrome plugin, it allows you to watch region restricted stuff.

Holy shit. This is nice. I've already found some things I've wanted to watch but they weren't on the U.S. Netflix. There are always ways of watching but sometimes you'd rather it just be ready to go.

I challenge you to name a couple.

I've watched the IT Crowd too.

I've tried getting into Father Ted twice before, but couldn't. This also happened to me with Gavin & Stacey which I'm currently watching and love. I got it though, so I'm giving it another shot as soon as I'm done watching Gavin & Stacey.

Are you sure it's the UK version? They showed the US remake over here and it sucked compared to the UK version.

Likewise, Life on Mars got a US remake and I heard it wasn't as good. I don't get why they do remakes for different countries tbh, as a British guy I can appreciate American drama and comedies just as much as British ones. I'm sure everyone else is capable of doing the same.
