Netflix movie: Don't Think Twice

Watched it last night. It's a really good movie. It's not earth-shattering or mind-bending or anything, but for what it is, it's very good.

Basically it's about an improv group that's all trying to make it big in show biz, specifically by getting on Saturday Night Live, and the impact on their relationships when one of them makes it and the others don't.

If you've ever been fascinated by improv OR if you've ever dreamed about making it in showbiz, then you'll appreciate this even more.

It has Key from Key and Peele, and it was written and directed by Mike Birbiglia, who's a decent comedian and apparently a very competent director.

If you're in the mood for something light and charming, I recommend it.

I've watched it.
I thought it was okay. I really like Mike Birbiglia and wanted it to be better. I guess I just don't particularly like improv.

It was pretty good. It wasn't as light and charming as you make it seem though. I thought it was kinda depressing.

I would hate to have "improv friends" because I think it would get super annoying after a while. Like they don't know how to turn off improv mode.

I used to have some theater nerd friends and they were like that. Always talking in accents and breaking out into song. It got old fast.

However, while I don't want improv friends, I don't mind watching them for a 90 minute movie.
